Saved by Channel ♥ CC

Yesterday I committed a cardinal sin of sugar dating, or well, dating in general.

I didn't realise id done it until it was too late...

DUN

DUN

DUN!

I wore the same outfit! EEEK¬! :-)

By the time I got to my date with 'Mr Date' it was early afternoon. We met at a well known hotel in London, and I saw him as soon as I walked into the lobby. He was dressed smartly like always and greeted me with a hug.
We decided to get something to eat in the restaurant inside hotel, for ease and because we were both hungry by now.

The restaurant was a kind of Chinese with a twist, where they served Asian flavoured burgers if such things exist. I went for a plate of rice with shrimp and chicken, and Mr Date went for a big bowl of noodles.
I have to admit the date was dire. If this had been the first time I had met him, we would have never met again. Conversation was almost all one sided, and as I chatted away he stared blankly at me or checked his blackberry that was persistently bleeping.

He told me he was very happy to see me, but the atmosphere pointed to the contrary. Lunch felt rushed and I was with him for all of about an hour. The only saving grace he had was that he did mention he had a lot going on that day, business wise, and he seemed a little apprehensions about that.
It made me wonder, did we ever get along very well, or did I look at our chemistry with rose tinted glasses? Maybe, but I'm sure he was making minimum effort possible yesterday.
Mr Date is being laid to rest in my sugar world, and he joins the sugar grave yard of past potentials, who tried, but failed to win me over.

It was as I walked out of the hotel, that I started thinking about my next meeting with 'G', and it was then I realised I was committing the shameful outfit crime. Luckily, I am sure 'G' is probably the least fashion or outfit savvy man around, and whilst I'm sure he appreciates a women who looks good - I doubt he takes into account details and features of ones outfit.
Luckier still, the outfit as you may recall from my previous post was pretty inconspicuous and casual, Black tunic, Biker boots, Cashmere Coat. I still felt I needed one little thing to change the look, and once I looked in my bag I realised I could fix myself up a little wardrobe on the go!
In my bag I had some Kirby grips, so I secured my hair all to one side in a chignon.
I then found my Chanel pearls hanging around in my bag, 3 strands white pearls with a Chanel black bow, and the Chanel white flower with a discreet and gold 'cc' on one of its petals. I took of my McQueen scarf (RIP McQueen, sad news, admired artist) and added the pearls. I hope this made the same outfit look different enough to get away with!

I had a few hours to spare before I met G, so whats a girl to do. Well when in London, shop! I headed to the flagship Topshop on Oxford Circus and picked myself up a Christopher Kane for Topshop brown lace dress in the sale it was £15 what a bargain... I also made a mental note to come back here and have eyelash extensions done in their eyelash bar in store.

By now my feet hurt but I soldier on and Arrive at out meeting point (One thing I like about G is that he meets me in very convenient places and is relaxed with regards to where) I was still a little early, so whats a girl to do? That's right. I found a Dune shoes and was in the shop looking at the prettiest flat sandals covered in crystals when he called me.
Outside the store I noticed him, and it was quite funny watching him when he didn't realise I could see, ehehehe evil me. So I went over, gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek (ONE kiss on one cheek, I remembered from last time. I always do the two kisses, one on each cheek and I think again this shows a difference in hmmmm....cant think of the word... CLASS sounds awful. But that's kind of what I mean...?) I dont mean to come across as a snob because I am not, and I dont care about peoples backgrounds and walk of life, im just very observent so I notice things like that.

We decided to go to a local sports bar. Very laid back and down to earth and we drank beer and I nibbled on chicken wings and hot sauce. I actually had one million times more fun with G than with Mr Date, and I think we spent a few hours in there.

G bought up the face-to-face allowance talk, which was much appreciated. He has had a similar relationship in the past, and he told me her allowance - quite causally - was 2.5k a week. He made a point of saying that was after a long time together and they were very happy, but its just nice to know he has that potential I suppose. To be honest, that's more than I ever imagine. But it is nice to imagine.
I had such a great time with G that I decided I was too hasty last week, and I'm very glad that we met again. He is an absolute gentleman and I don't feel any pressure to sleep with him, or to look spotless at all times - I though as I had hot sauce all over my mouth at one point :-)

I think this counts for something, and he made it clear everything is on my terms, even how often we see each other. I think its a good deal if it all rings true.

Il do another post on exactly what allowance he offered and what kind of relationship we would have. This post is getting long and id like to post on how I work out allowances and tips on conversations surrounding them, as they can be tricky.

Weekend Kisses!

G and Mr Date returns...

Thank you for the comments on my recent post introducing G and our first date. Its really helped me to read them and get different opinions whilst Ive been reflecting over the last few days.
One of the comments mentioned how sugar relations are not usually forever, and of course I knew this, but it hit home and made me realise who cares if I meet someone for a little while, as long as im happy with them it doesnt matter if they fit my ideal mould. The more I think about it the more I realise im looking for something laid back and temporary like this. G is like the cookie thats a little broken, still as sweet but just not as perfect as the picture you had in your mind...

Today I received a message from Mr Date, and he asked to take me for Lunch tomorrow. We have kept in touch but I have kept him at arms length after meeting pots who I admire and have more faith in than him. Saying that, I still like the guy and I do have time for him on my terms.

Ive decided, that tomorrow I will meet him for lunch. Il post after the date, although I see nothing more than lunch and a little catch up happening, and I'm quite happy with that. Whilst I'm in central London I decided to get the ball rolling and use my time wisely, so I have decided to meet G for drinks afterwards.
I have come to the conclusion that one date is probably not sufficient to base anything on, as I could tell G had some nerves going on and I am hoping a second time he would relax - allowing me to imagine an arrangement with him better.

Ive kept in touch with him since our last date last week, and I laid on the table what I wanted to see from him. We are going to meet again tomorrow and have a few drinks, to discuss and negotiate. Ive come to the conclusion that id be silly to not take him seriously as he has so many good points, even if he does not fit my 'sugar mould' exactly. Maybe that's refreshing? Who knows.

I know, if my vibes are right and if he is truthful, that I could get this whole thing started, allowance and all within one more date. Tomorrows date would be my starting point to plan this. Ive already made it clear, as I always do, that sex is a natural development for me. And sex does not equal allowance - i am not a hooker and I am not being 'paid' for anything.
G is a gentleman, takes this seriously and is a great sugar catch. He may not have swept me off my Louboutins but that doesn't mean he isn't worth my time. He is. How many sugar daddys actually research and read Sugar 101 just to make sure they 'get' it and that their Sugar baby will be a happy baby. I think that should stand for something!

So that's my day ahead planned. Lunch with Date, and drinks with G. Il of course update the little details, and I'm interested to see what G is going to 'lay out on the sugar table'!

By the way, I have so much going on with Mr Perfect, the funniest stories that would be so great to blog about. Its like a little adventure and my friends and I find it all so amusing and amazing. But for some reason I'm holding off letting it all go on here about him, I feel like guarding him. We are still 'dating' and I'm enjoying every minute.

Colouring outside of the lines....

So today I decided to change my blogs name from 'Sugar Memoirs' to 'Memoirs Of A Sugarbaby' this is just because I wanted to originally call it that, but I have only just got around to changing the name.... Plus I wanted to add a cute heart.

So this week has been rather strange, in my personal life I have had a fabulous week. In my sugar life, I have had an unexpected week... As I received a text from Mr Date and ended up meeting him for Lunch. I'm not going to go into too much detail purely because I don't know what is going on right now, but there you go. I dont trust him as far as I could throw him, but I like him. Strange indeed. Promising.maybe? Watch this space...

In other news, I am loving Mr Perfect and I think he is someone I am going to spend a lot of time with. I can see this being a long drawn out process, with regards to allowance and liaisons, this is mainly due to the fact that Mr Perfect spends a lot of time traveling, as do I, and time to meet up on home ground may be limited. The other 'issue' with Mr Perfect is he is looking for a girlfriend, rather than an arrangement.

I, personally, do not find this a problem. Some sugar baby's may run a mile, but these are my reasons not to.

Firstly, I don't have a boyfriend/partner/current SD. So its not like my 'girlfriend' role is all taken, and I am a very, very good girlfriend (if I do say so myself :-)

I find the two things...being a GF or a SB...similar, with only a few blurred differences. Before you run a mile at the word Girlfriend, take this into consideration.

As a Sugar baby we arrange the whole thing, sometimes from the exact start and sometimes even to the exact date of finish. We see our time as limited, and we only go as far as the rules or 'terms' allow us. We ask: Where do we meet? How long for? How many times per month? How is allowance paid? How often? Weekly? Monthly? Will I travel? Will I come to you? Will you come to me? Will we stay over night? Sex? How often? Gifts? When?

As a Girlfriend, these same issued are covered, but with less of boundary's, we gain our SD's full trust, his admiration and affection, we know exactly where one another stands and we genuinely respect each other. Once we have this, we can build on a truly rewarding relationship, where we gain far more and feel more secure, more content. We can ask, and have the right to what ever we like, what we want will be ours, as our SD knows a happy SB is a rewarding SB :-) As a girlfriend sugar baby, we can colour outside of the lines.

Mr Perfect is currently in Asia, at a four seasons resort, and keeps sending me cute picture messages of his time there and frequent updates. I really appreciate this and I cant wait to see him again. Although I like him very much, and I think he is a diamond of a daddy, I am continuing to see other potentials. I really want to have a base of 2-3 daddy's, ones to fall back on when the others haven't come through, all the while il be nurturing my relationship with Mr Perfect, and eventually id be happy to just have him :-)

Lots Of Love,

Baby Bow xx

Bow the real life barbie... Mr Date D.O.A

Fellow Sugars,
I have been dealt quite a blow this morning, by Mr date, naturally. But first, I will give you a little background information. Just so you can appreciate quite how shocking this is.
Since my last post, things went from bad, to perfect with Mr Date. We were in constant contact, initiated by him, from the first goodmorning to the last goodnight. We had spoken every day on the phone for the last week, planned a trip away together, laughed and enjoyed the thought of seeing each other again. Apologies had been made, and an ultimatum given.
I had explained to Mr Date that whilst I was waiting for him to get his act together, this had wasted about 2 months of my sugar search. I wanted to know when/where/how an allowance was to start - he called me once I had sent this message - I was shopping in New York at the time.
'Lets see each other Monday darling, and we can start from there, I promise'

I gave Mr Date a chance to back out if he had cold feet. I explained that i wouldn't be mad, but there must have been a reason for all these excuses and let downs. If he wasn't sure about what he wanted, he could just say. He replied ' I want you, and only you. 100%' something along those lines, he had his chance to exit the dignified way and he stuck.
So I spent the rest of my week excited at the thought, it was really happening! We were to see each other on Monday and the arrangement was to start

We planned on meeting for this lunch time - today..... as in a few hours time. I was to meet him on the corner of Sloan Square, and we would go to an exclusive restaurant I had told him I liked. After, we would enjoy each other and spend the afternoon at a hotel he was booked into and later I planned on meeting fellow sugar baby blogger Honey Baby (Honey Baby introduced myself and Mr date, so we planned to meet as he told me he would like to take us both out in the future to thank her for our meeting - in Paris he suggested!!)

I have to be honest, I had a feeling something wasn't quite right. Not only for the obvious fact he had let me down one too many times, but the way in which he acted and spoke. He would go from hot to cold, constantly, one moment nothing at all, and the next sending me message after message ' I miss you' - 'I could fall in love with you' 'I like you so so much' 'I want this to be a long and lasting relationship'...
A little while ago Mr Date had mentioned a skin care product that is only sold now in the USA, as it was discontinued in the UK. He asked me if I ever saw it on my trips to pick some up for him. Whilst in NYC I came across this product, by Keilhs, and decided to buy him some as a gift. I think sometimes its nice to show you can give a little gift too, and in most cases I still think that this is a great idea. Turn the tables a little bit. Show how you can care/listen/surprise too!

Yesterday, I spent the day with my father. Mr Date text me to ask me what I was doing, and I told him ' I'm spending the day with my father at his golf club' He told me id have a great time and continued to text me all day and all night, hot not cold, promising the next day would happen.

Then I woke up this morning. I cant say I was full of excitement, because lets be honest after the 7th let down even the most positive sugar baby in the world would have had apprehension's. My phone bleeped, and I saw the message on my screen. This was it.
(by the way i wouldn't usually post an exact message but seeing as Mr date has acted with no consideration for my feelings or shown any respect I cannot see one reason why I shouldn't)

'Baby Bow, after mentioning your day with your father yesterday who I suspect is younger than me I cant go ahead with this I'm sorry. You are a very beautiful young lady with a delightful personality but too young. I know you are going to hate me for this and suspect I have been messing you around. I haven't. Its taking considerable resolve to come to this decision. I must be mad but that's how it is. I will delete your details and not bother you again, please don't reply. Take care and I wish you every success for the future. Goodbye x x x x x '

OMG FML. - Oh yes Mr date, I wont reply to that. You have just wasted two months of my life I wont get back, but Il honor you with the silence of your phone not alerting you of any further correspondence from me. You may speak about you wife/children all you like, but I may never mention my own family... AS IF.

So I replied.

'For future reference, if your going to 'like' a young woman and ask her to send you pictures of herself, call her mobile while she is over seas numerous times, ask her to call you, arrange then re arrange then cancel dates at least once a week, expect her to be exclusive to you during this time, initiate sexual messages, take into consideration the work she has missed whilst trying to be available for you, the preparation of looking good for you each time, and the respect and patience she has shown you... the least, and I mean very least, you could do was to take her for planned lunch and chat about this face to face. A text does not suffice.
I know this at 22, I wonder how at 55 you missed it? I think i have been naive, and you are most likely not what you seemed.'

So there you have it, myself and Mr date. Over before it started. Dead on arrival.

I'm also going to take a picture of the gift I bought him, which he knows about, and e-mail it to him. I'm not sure why, I just think that would make me feel better! If he was a good man he would compensate me for all this time spent and gifts etc.... but I know that would not happen.

So ladies, who did Mr Date think I was? Did he think I was from the sugar baby garden, grown from a seed, ageless and frozen in time for him to pick and use at his will? Did he think a stork flew over London, dropped me off, and left me to fend for myself? Did he believe I was a real life barbie, born of no parents, just packaged up for him by mattel?

What ever Mr date thought, he thought wrong. Men like him are ten a penny, and I can have another him in a minute :-) Except I don't want another him, I want a real man.

So there you have it, goodbye Mr Date. It was a bother having you. But I learnt some lessons and I have picked myself back up, re adjusted my tutu, shook up my hair, and dusted off the louboutins.

Watch out boys!!!!!!!!!!
Love always, Baby Bow x x x

After the date...

I'm kind of still on a very happy high from my date with Mr Date, we get on really well and speak all the time, he is always sending me really thoughtful texts and updates and I really like that.

I wouldn't like a SD where we would only be in touch when he wanted to see me, I know some people would prefer that, especially if they had a BF or wanted to keep their life completely separate. Where as I like to be in full contact with my SD, receiving calls and messages in between our times together. I feel happy when I wake up in the morning and there is a text there waiting for me :-)

My next date with Mr date is next week, I'm not too sure where or what we will be doing but its all very exciting. I'm meeting him when I get home from a little trip I'm taking this weekend, which is good because I am looking forward to seeing him, but unfortunate because after being in the air for 12 hours you feel like a hot air balloon. So il make a date with my friend Mr Peppermint tea, and that should help prepare a little! I also wonder if he will give me my allowance on this meeting..... we shall have to see.

On the one hand I hope so, not only because I have mentally spent it, hehe, but also because I can then truly relax and enjoy the relationship as that will show its all above board and serious. On the other hand I would understand if I didn't get it, or all of it, on our second date. Obviously you have to be careful, and he may worry id take it and then never see him again - which of course us respectable baby's would never do but i bet its happened to daddy's in the past.

Now that Ive found Mr Date, I have removed myself from any websites I had a profile on, which was actually just Sugar Daddie.com at the time. I feel he deserves my full attention, so that I can mould and nurture our arrangement into exactly what we both want, and I know that if I give it my all I will be treated very very well.
Some people may think its unwise to 'put all of your eggs in one basket' but I don't see it this way. I know he likes me, and I like him - so everything now is just getting to know one another and putting the time and effort in.

Even if you want to find multiple Sugar Daddy's, you should always put your search on hold while your in this stage of the relationship. You don't want to blow your chances by being pre occupied with thoughts, e-mails, nerves, meetings etc with other men, and in most cases Sugar Daddy will want to be your only one, so you don't want to mix it up for yourself if he senses he is not.

I'm very serious about Mr Date, I genuinely like him and I've decided he is the one I am concentrating on. We had a little handshake and spoke about what we both wanted from our relationship, and now we are at the beginning. I cant wait to see where we go from here....

First Date Mr Date soon!...

So the date with Mr date is near approaching, tomorrow night and I'm all, almost, ready.

The tan has been a sprayed, the nails have been frenched, the hair has been highlighted, the eyebrows tinted, waxed, and the extensions are being redone soon. Then il be going to get ready, hopping on that train (first class i think treating myself so I can look at the other SD types and indulge in a glass of wine!!) and il be there.

We are meeting in an upscale hotel, I said il meet him at the bar. I plan on being there earlier than I have said I will be (unfashionably, but I have a theory) The theory is, I don't like that feeling of walking into a bar, worse a busy bar, and just not having a clue who i'm looking for. My eye sight isn't always great at the best of times, so I don't want to be saying hello to every Tom, Dick and Harry!!!

So my idea is get there before, text to say 'oooops got here a bit early' and get myself a drink at the bar so I can relax and when he arrives he will be the one to spot and introduce himself to me. Perfection!

I'm not sure what we are doing after, I think going for dinner and drinks. I'm actually very nervous and I don't know why, I never get nervous ever not for anything else but when it comes to meeting someone like this who I haven't met before I get a butterfly tummy and a little scared to be honest..... eeeeek. But I will be confident, strong and charming!
So, Il take a quick picture before I head out so you fellow Facebook baby's can see my chosen date outfit and my hair!

Oh and i'm loving Chicago Sugar baby's new post - fabulous news and an exciting read. I will soon have a post just as exciting of my own (That's positive thinking right there, I'm into the positive thinking!)

Monday Monday

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all have had a sugar filled weekend!
Today, I updated my face-book with pictures of gifts and items I mention in this blog. I don't want it to look like I'm bragging, so I was a bit unsure of whether to do it or not, but seeing as most of you have and people have asked me too its only fun and I thought I would, I just don't want it to come across the wrong way! :-) Il add things to it, and I'm hoping il have plenty to add soon!
I'm hoping that my date comes off this week with Mr Date, I'm meeting him on Thursday evening and I'm looking forward to it. He has been very apologetic and says nothing will stop him meeting me, so I'm taking his word for it. Woke up to a cute good morning message too :-)

I'm feeling pretty confident about it, I think we have been planning to meet now for so long that nerves have been and gone, the only thing I'm worried about it having the allowance conversation face to face, as I'm used to talking about things like that online. I'm going to remain calm, and state exactly what figure I have in my head, and hopefully il get him to say first what he was thinking of, then we can lay our cards out on the table.
So its mission date now. This means that tomorrow I'm getting my nails done, maybe french or a nude shade followed by eyebrows waxed and tinted. Wednesday I'm getting my high lights done, and a sweeping side fringe cut in followed by a spray tan. Thursday I'm getting a new set of extensions put in, before the date. Phew! Thank goodness I am off work for the whole week.

I'm just going to go and eat now, Ive been good all day and I'm going for a run soon so I need to eat before I work out!
Lots of Kisses, Baby Bow xx

Mr Date!.....

Mr Date, is still dateless. I didn't give a formal introduction to him, so here is a little bit of background for you all. Another fellow sugar baby on here with her own blog sent me his details (I wont mention who because I am not sure if they wanted me to say or not!?) He sounded promising and genuine, and had shown great signs when she met him herself. He appeared very generous and I liked his picture, so I was quite excited at the prospect.

Since then, after a few great phone calls and lots of really, really sweet text messages, we arranged a date. The morning of the date, I got a text canceling. Bummer. Now this is a bummer for a variety of reasons - Reason A: Being stood up is always crap. Reason B: A girl spends a lot of time and £ before a date preparing - this time and £ then feels wasted Reason C: The trust we had in said gentleman and respect then slides a little, with out us really realising or even wanting it to. And personally I had a Reason D: I had just landed from a flight, and was planning on getting ready and going straight there - so I had in fact carried my date outfit and the like half way around the frigging world...

After the first let down I decided that 'these things happen' and to be honest I am a very laid back and easy going baby so reason A, B, C and D didn't put me off too much. After a little more correspondence we decided on another date - the lunch date. Up until the night before it was all planned, restaurant booked, travel arranged, I had done a lot of preening and grooming and I was excited. Next morning - No message or reply to my text, and I'm never one to hound somebody, I have too much dignity for that. So i had to let the lunch date slide.... as I hadn't even been informed of a time, place etc....
Again, I got over reason A, B and C, and after profuse apologies from Mr Date (His phone was in a meeting on silent - I don't know what that has to do with missing a whole date but maybe I'm missing something?!) I set aside some of my time the following week to meet him. Third time lucky?....

This time, I had actually been planning on going away to see a friend who has just had a baby. But, when Mr date suggested this particular day, I didn't want to put yet another barrier in the way of our date. So I didn't make plans, and I left my day fully open for him. I got a phone call each day, and always a text - saying how he was looking forward to seeing me so much, and so on. So, the very day before the date, I text to ask when and where he would like to meet - ZERO response, ZERO apology, ZERO anything.

In a normal sugar dating situation, I would write this off as one of those absolute waste timers, wasting their own time as well as mine. But, I do not understand how this guy could be so full of prospects for one baby, and then be the complete opposite for me... So this keeps me intrigued.
Why would he bother, with the calls, the emails, the text messages, the booked restaurants, the plan making, the effort - If he isn't serious about meeting a sugar baby.
The most annoying was the fact that two days later and I still hadn't received anything. That shows a lack of respect for other peoples time which I deem as very, very rude. As a sugar baby I expect to be kept informed, I even expect to be let down a little, but I never ever expect to be kept in the dark about my own plans. If you make an appointment anywhere in life, you keep it or you cancel it. Simples.
So, I decided to send him a message. I was very kind and sweet, I try to never argue or get mad, its such a waste of energy, feeling mad is like swallowing poison and expecting someone else to get sick from it. In my message I wrote along the lines of 'Mr Date, I sincerely hope you are OK after not hearing from you. I would not have minded if you hadn't wanted to meet me for what ever reason, but not taking the time to cancel, let alone the lack of any apology since, I have found very rude. Its a shame, because I had a good feeling about you and you seemed like a genuine guy.' something like that anyway....

So I got a message back saying that he had a massive phone issue, hadn't been able to get in touch, is very lucky that I text him so he can now get in touch..... This to me smells a little bit like sugar coated bull shit, but I have had a similar issue before so I will give the benefit of the doubt.
So, Bow will get ready for yet another date with Mr date.

Shame on you if you fool me once, shame on me if you fool me twice... or three, times ;-) Lets hope it ends there!

Keep you Updated!
Love, Baby Bow x
